In the lobby of my dorm there is a board with the title: Resident of the Week.
And then it follows with: Art of...
And this week it was mine.
I was kind of excited and scared at the same time. While its not really a 'show' its the first time that my art has been shown in public for an extended period of time.

I have gotten some very nice comments from people in my dorm and it makes me feel good. I am glad that other people like my work. :-)

//Kitty Meow Meow

Today I got to play with a sweet little kitty. It is hard for me to resist the small fluffy purry cuteness that are kittens. But I must say, it made me miss my kitty a whole lot. So this is what I did today.

Yesterday I held the door open for an older lady. She smiled broadly and said thank you. Her smile made my day.

Today I walked down the street and this lady, not paying attention, ran into me. She couldn't even be bothered to say she was sorry.

Last night I saw a man jump on another man's car and try to kick in his car window. I didn't know what he was mad about but was glad when the bus came and I didn't have to be in the area anymore.

Tonight I will watch movies and work on finals because the movie pertains to one of my finals, but it will be lonely.

//Found

I was looking through photos today to find some to print on the beautiful [and highly expensive] printers in one of the school's many photo labs today and I found some photos that I forgot I had. Last summer me and a couple friends went to a concert called Projeckt Revolution. We were there from 11 in the morning to 11 at night. It was fantastic, [and the lot of us got completely and utterly sunburnt].
The images were taken on my little Nikon s7c camera. At the time the website had said no cameras so I didnt think to charge it but I always had it with me so I didn't have to carry around my D50, but when we got there the guy at the gate told us we could have small point and shoot cameras. So, even though my battery was really low, I couldn't resist the chance to finally get to take some shots of Linkin Park [<3].
They quality isn't phenomenal by any means, but they are pretty darn amazing to me because of the camera I was using and how dark it was outside. :-)

//Adore

I adore these boys. I have known them both since they were born and have babysat them since they were old enough to be babysat. :-) As such, I am a little attached to them. I was so glad to get to see them on my week back home for Thanksgiving. I shot some film of them for my project and then we basically just played around until the sun went down. Had some fun making faces and went to the park to run and laugh. It was a good time.

I have tons more, but I think that I will stop there, because that many is already probably photo overload. Haha. Now I am off to the lab to work on the seven rolls of film I shot over the past week. Ta!

//Busy Busy

I made a blog and then I commenced to ignore it. *sigh* But it is due to school and the holidays. All Thanksgiving week I was busy with projects and spending time with family. With finals in progress for the next three weeks I have a rather large amount to get done. The projects are all demanding of a lot of time and I have a limited amount of time to get them done.
